File Timestamp Renamer

File Timestamp Renamer is a Windows app for renaming photos, videos, and other selected files using timestamp, capture date, creation date, or modified date information. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your data.

What the app accesses

The app only accesses files and folders that you explicitly choose, such as files you add through the file picker, folder picker, or drag-and-drop. It does not scan your device or access files unless you select them in the app.

How your data is processed

Filename previewing, timestamp reading, duplicate detection, copying, and renaming operations are performed locally on your device. Your files are not uploaded to my servers for processing.

Internet access

File Timestamp Renamer works offline and does not require an account or internet connection to use its core features.

Data collection

I do not collect personal data, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, filenames, file contents, folder paths, media metadata, or tracking data through File Timestamp Renamer.

Sharing

I do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

Local storage

The app may store local preferences on your device, such as selected filename format, prefix settings, output mode, window layout, or other app preferences. This information remains on your device.

Your control

• You choose which files and folders the app can access.
• You can preview filename changes before applying them.
• You can stop using the app at any time.
• You can remove local app data by deleting the app and its local preferences from your device.
